783 Dublin Airport Service: A Sustainable Transport Route between South Dublin & Dublin City 

The launch of our 783 routes to South Dublin in March 2024 is set to reduce car journeys by 180,000 annually equivalent to 11 return trips between Dublin and Cork. This route plays a critical role in reducing traffic congestion, particularly for those traveling between South Dublin and Dublin Airport. Each year, over 2 million passengers choose our Dublin Airport service, eliminating an estimated 1 million car journeys. Our coach services make it easy for Southside residents to skip the car and enjoy a seamless, affordable trip to the airport or city centre.

Cleaner Air with HVO: A Game-Changer for Emissions

Dublin Express is committed to cutting carbon emissions even further by transitioning our entire 21-vehicle Dublin fleet to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). This switch has reduced Co2 emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional diesel. Each HVO-powered coach emits just 1/12th of the emissions of a diesel bus. In real terms, this change is equivalent to removing 252 diesel coaches from the road. Every time you board a Dublin Express coach, you're making a more environmentally friendly travel choice.
