Dublin is set to come alive with vibrant colours and joyful celebrations as the Pride parade marks its 50th year! This milestone event, themed "Shine," will take place starting on Saturday 29 June, and promises to be an unforgettable celebration of love, diversity, and inclusion.
The Pride Parade will kick off at 12pm on 29th down O'Connell Street and make its way to Merrion Square. All participants are welcome to join the parade at any point along the route past O'Connell Street, making it easy for everyone to be a part of the festivities. Whether you're marching in the parade or cheering from the sidelines, this is your chance to shine!
Dublin Pride have ensured that ample accessibility options are available, with a special viewing area built to provide an excellent vantage point for the parade. For those who wish to participate, accessible buses and vehicles will be available, ensuring that everyone can join in the celebration at Merrion Square.
From 1pm to 6pm, Pride Village will take place at Merrion Square. The free festival of LGBTQ+ community and culture will be the hub of activity. Hosted by the fabulous Phil T. Gorgeous and Paul Ryder, with DJ Ruth spinning the beats. The Main Stage will feature incredible performances by Davina Devine, Regina George and Viola Gayvis.
The celebration continues into the night with the Mother Pride Block Party at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, from 4pm to 1am. This is a ticketed event, and you can secure your spot by booking through the Dublin Pride Website.
The event is wheelchair accessible and exclusively for those aged 18 and over. Prepare to be dazzled by performances from Cobrah, Princess Superstar, Robin S, Sasha Velour, with special guest, Blu Hydrangea and many more surprise acts to keep the party going.
