At Dublin Express, we we’re thrilled to take part in two major industry award events for 2025, the Green Awards 2025 and the Irish Logistics and Transport Awards. We attended as nominees across multiple categories and eventual winners of the Customer Service Excellence award. These nominations reflect our dedication to sustainability, customer service, and excellence in the transport industry.

Recognition at the Green Awards 2025

We were proud to be nominated for The Green Logistics & Transport Company Award at the Green Awards 2025. Since 2008, the Green Awards have celebrated businesses that lead the way in environmental innovation and sustainability. This nomination highlights our commitment to reducing our environmental impact while delivering top-tier transport services. Being shortlisted for this award is an achievement in itself, placing us among Ireland’s most forward-thinking and eco-conscious businesses.

The Green Awards is one of Ireland’s most significant sustainability recognition programs, showcasing companies that are pioneering efforts in environmental stewardship. The Green Logistics & Transport Company Award specifically honours businesses that have implemented sustainable transport solutions, reduced carbon footprints, and demonstrated leadership in green logistics practices. For Dublin Express, this nomination acknowledges our efforts in reducing emissions, enhancing fuel efficiency, and adopting eco-friendly transport initiatives.

Irish Logistics and Transport Awards Nominations

The Irish Logistics and Transport Awards have been a leading platform for celebrating excellence in transport since 2010. This highly respected awards program is dedicated to recognising outstanding achievements in logistics, supply chain management, and transport innovation.

In addition to our recognition at the Green Awards, we were delighted to receive nominations in three categories at the Irish Logistics and Transport Awards:

  • Green Impact Award – Recognising our continuous efforts to implement sustainable practices in logistics and transport. This award is presented to a company that has made significant strides in reducing environmental impact, incorporating green policies, and setting a benchmark for the industry.
  • Women in Transport Award – A special honour for Doreen Bell, celebrating her outstanding contributions and leadership in the industry. This award recognises the achievements of women making a tangible impact in the transport sector, promoting inclusivity and leadership.
  • Customer Focus Award – Acknowledging excellence in customer service and our dedication to meeting the highest industry standards. This category highlights companies that have set themselves apart through exceptional customer care, innovative service improvements, and high customer satisfaction ratings.

Leading the Way in Green Transport with HVO

At Dublin Express, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. A key factor in our nominations for the Green Logistics & Transport Company Award and the Green Impact Award was our ground-breaking switch to HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)—a major step towards reducing carbon emissions in the transport industry. We are proud to be the first passenger transport company in Ireland to transition our entire Dublin fleet to HVO, significantly cutting our CO₂ emissions. By making this switch, we have not only reduced our environmental footprint but also set a new standard for sustainable transport in Ireland. These nominations reinforce our commitment to innovation and environmental leadership, making our nominations in the green categories even more meaningful.

A Win for Customer Service Excellence!

We are beyond proud to have won the Customer Focus Award at the Irish Logistics and Transport Awards! This award recognises the transport or logistics operator that has demonstrated the highest levels of customer service over the past year. Winning this category validates our continuous efforts to prioritise our passengers, innovate our services, and exceed expectations in every journey.

The award submission process required an in-depth presentation of our customer service strategy, market and customer research, customer satisfaction measures, staff training initiatives, and supporting evidence, including customer testimonials. Receiving this award is a testament to our team's hard work, dedication, and passion for delivering a seamless and comfortable travel experience to all our customers.
